Insurance policy is not a good investment. Always better to take it as a risk cover. But you need investment policy. further your age group is one which you could take some investment risk. So I recommend Market return plan (MRP) of reliance life insurance. I am not sure if it now available. It is one of the oldest ULIP introduced by the former AMP Sanmar life insurance which is now reliance life. The advantages are the minimum charges and a reasonable good investment portfolio. most of the new companies are taking huge allocation charges in the initial and subsequent years.

If you are looking to put both together, AIG has one of the better Universal Life policies available. Any that say that should absolutely be kept seperate are uneducated on how they work. There are some cases where this is the best option, and some cases where they aren’t. Totally depends on your intentions for it.
If you are looking to keep them seperate, you should look at a limited pay policy where you only pay for a specific period of time. At your age this type of policy will cost you next to nothing so it is a far better option than saving $15 and going with term insurance.
Your best bet however is to contact a lisensed insurance broker. With the limited details you’ve provided it is impossible to make a 100% accurate recommendation, since we don’t knwo what your goals are for the investments or the insurance, what the need is, how much insurance you need or what your budget would be for both.

There r many policies in this sector but if u want some interesting policies with gud nd secure return then ur age is perfect 4 taking a life insurance policy. There is a policy of HDFC standard life insurance co. yhat is pension plan nd unit linked youngstar policy that will provide u a gud return bcoz these policies r long term policies.Pension plan is awonderful policy it is fully transferable frm any conpany if u think that is not satisfying u without any hidden charges nd gud way of getting pension if u r nt in a government job.

Insurance is a risk cover and not investment avenue.
To advice about a good plan one has to understand a person and his economic responsibilities.
If you are serious about this and are based in Mumbai, mail me on gadiyarsp@yahoo.co.in
I will meet you personally to explain.

Don’t buy the two together. Its more espensive that way. You need to buy term life insurance and seperately invest your money. You can shop around for life insurance. An appropriate investment is more complicated than just the results.
